The Diocesan Cathedral celebrated its patronal feast day of the Protection of the Mother of God on October 13-14, 2009.  This year also marked the 60th anniversary of the founding of the parish.  Bishop Peter of Cleveland presided at the services, joined by many of the Diocesan clergy who had assembled for the Diocesan Fall Clergy Retreat.  Also present for all services was the miraculous Icon of the Mother of God "Softener of Evil Hearts".  For more information and photos, please visit:  http://english.holyvirginprotection.org/pokrov09.html
