DCMA Liturgical Music Committee

MISSION STATEMENT

Liturgical singing is an essential ministry in the Church, leading the people's hearts to prayer. Promoting prayerful and proper Church singing and chanting is the goal of the Music Committee of the Diocese of Chicago and Mid-America . It is an organization consisting of clergy, choir directors and singers working to advance the liturgical singing within the diocese. The Music Committee will work towards this by providing resources and education to church choirs, singers and chanters through the diocesan website and conferences, both at the local and the diocesan level.
