On Sunday, December 6/19, 2010, His Grace Bishop Peter celebrated the feast of St. Nicholas at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church in McKinney, TX. Protodeacon Vadim Gan, Andrei Urtiew and Nick Hantel accompanied His Grace to assist with the services. Priest Seraphim Holland and Deacon Nicholas Park of McKinney and Deacon Innokeny Reichert of Spring, TX served also.

The Hierarchical All-Night Vigil and Divine Liturgy were sung beautifully by the St. Nicholas Choir under the direction of Genevieve Park. Before the Liturgy, His Grace blessed the inside of the newly-built temple with Holy Water. After the Liturgy there was a processional molieben, and the outside of the temple was blessed. All of the worshipers then shared a festal meal, prepared by the parish sisterhood, during which time His Grace answered parishioner's questions on a variety of topics.
