Houghton, MI – The Dean of the Michigan Deanery, Archpriest Gregory Joyce, served the Divine Liturgy at the Sts. Sergius and Herman of Valaam parish here on August 4, 2013.  Following the Divine Liturgy the Rector of the parish, Hiermonk Innokenty (Reichert) provided Fr. Gregory an update on the progress of the roof work recently undertaken at the parish. The parish (and the St. John Climacus monastic brotherhood of the diocese, also centered at the Sts. Sergius & Herman parish) have raised the almost $50,000 needed to pay for the roof work, except for about $3,000.
