We regret to inform you that on the morning of September 20, 2022  Archpriest Martin Swanson, Rector Emeritus of the St. Basil Church in St. Louis and Dean Emeritus of our diocesan Pastoral School, reposed in the Lord.

Archbishop Peter asks your prayers for the newly reposed and his family, especially at the Divine Liturgy during the 40 days after his repose.

The 40th day for Fr. Martin will be October 16/29.

The funeral arrangement for Fr. Martin Swanson are the following:

Friday, September 23: Evening Services 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, September 24: Divine Liturgy 8:00 a.m.; Funeral 10:00 a.m.

Burial will be at Holy Cross Monastery in Wayne, WV.

Those who are able are encouraged to travel to St. Louis and participate in the Funeral. Liturgical color is blue.
