The elected delegates of the Diocese of Chicago & Mid-America to the Local Council of the Russian Church to be held in Moscow at the end of January 2009 are the following – delegates were elected by the clergymen of the diocese:

Clerical Delegate: Very Rev. Fr. Andre Papkov
Lay Delegate: Andrei Urtiew
Monastic Delegate: Very Rev. Igumen Ioann

As Administrator of the Diocese of Chicago & Mid-America His Grace, Bishop Peter of Cleveland, will be a participant in the Bishop’s Council and the Local Council in Moscow.  Protodeacon Vadim Gan will accompany His Grace on his travels as his personal assistant.

We ask the flock of our diocese to pray for our delegates and the entire council as they choose a new Primate of the Russian Church.
