On February 13, 2009, the parish of St George the Great Martyr in Cincinnati OH held its 4th annual Russian Winter's Night, a fundraising event which raised $14,000 for the new church building fund.  The evening included a Russian-themed meal, vodka tasting, live music, an auction, and a concert by soprano Irina Mozyleva and pianist Louis Menendez.  His Grace Bishop Peter attended the event and gave a speech in which he encouraged the Cincinnati parishioners in their fundraising efforts.
